Although both Navbharat Chhatralaya and Pu. Samant Guruji Kanya Chhatralaya receive some government support, it is often insufficient and delayed. To meet the remaining operational needs, the organization embraced the principle of “Self-reliance through hard work,” envisioned by Samant Guruji.

The Krishikendra (Agricultural Centre) was established on March 9, 1989, and today operates on a 215 guntha land parcel. A mother plant garden featuring fruit crops such as mango, coconut, sapota, lemon, and black pepper and several other fruit plants was developed here and approved by the government.

By establishing its own nurseries, the organization has achieved self-sufficiency through the sale of:

  • Grafted plants and seedlings
  • Rose flowers
  • Vegetable saplings
  • Fruits/ vegetables

This initiative has become a vital source of energy and income for the organization. Thanks to the planning, discipline, and expert guidance of Professor Prabhakar Shinde (son of Shinde Guruji and an agriculturist), the project continues to thrive and grow.
